What is the Luxe Loop Buy-Back Program?
With the Luxe Loop Buy-Back, you can sell your bags back to us within 6 months of purchase and receive a great return of 70% of the purchase price in cash or 80% in store credit! Bags must be a minimum price of $1,500 and in the same condition with the same accessories. See full details.
What is the selling process?
To get started, submit our easy quote form. We will email you our quote within one business day or sooner (often within hours!). Then, choose FREE insured shipping with Australia Post or FedEx courier collection, or drop-off to us in Sydney or Brisbane.
We do all the hard work to clean, authenticate, photography and list your luxury items on our site. For express buy-out, payment is made to your bank account immediately once received and authenticated. For consignment, payment is made to your bank account once your item sells and finalises.
Can I choose consignment but switch to express buy-out later?
Our quote for express buy-out is valid only prior to listing. If you proceed with consignment we may later allow the option to switch to express buy-out, but it would be based on a reduced price relative to that the item has failed to sell at its original price. Therefore to receive the highest price for express buy-out, you should select express buy-out at the outset.
How can I ship or drop-off? Is it free and fully insured?
Yes, we provide FREE fully insured and fully trackable shipping with Australia Post or FedEx to send in your items - therefore you have peace of mind knowing your items are always safe. In the extremely rare event your shipment went missing in transit, our insurance will fully cover the loss when you use our shipping labels or FedEx pickup - so you are fully protected.
Which designers and luxury items do you accept?
We can help you sell your designer bags, jewellery and accessories from a wide range of brands listed here. Note, we can only take items from designers in this list (no other designers unfortunately).
What is consignment vs express buy-out? How much can I earn?
With consignment you receive the highest return. Payment is made by bank transfer once your item sells and finalises.
With express buy-out you receive the quickest payment! Payment is made by bank transfer immediately once received and authenticated.
For consignment items you receive:
- $0 - $3999 receive 70% of sale price, less $30
- $4000 - $8999 receive 80% of sale price, less $30
- $9000+ receive 85% of sale price, less $30
Do I need the receipt, dust bag or accessories in order to sell?
No these aren’t necessary, and you can still sell with Luxe.It.Fwd even if you do not have the receipt, dust bag or other accessories. Although if you do have these, then please include them. Because in some instances this can increase the quote and many buyers also prefer to have these if available.
How quickly will my consigned item sell? What if it doesn’t sell?
Our large customer audience and strong reputation means that the majority of our items sell within 48 hours or less! The selling timeframes for every item are however individual based on demand for style, colour and condition. Popular items can sell within minutes while other items may take longer.
We list consignment items for a minimum 90 days and nearly all items sell within that period. If it does not, you have the choice then to either reduce the price, continue at the same price or return to you free of charge. We never reduce a price without your approval!
What happens if my item is found to be a replica?
Given the significant expense and time is incurred when a replica is sent to us, a $180 fee will be incurred for replica items to cover our costs incurred and shipping both ways ($280 for replica watches or that are not in good working order).
